Classic cars, classic tracks
On the Dijon edition of the classic car race Alain Vögele lined up to the start with a beautiful Alfa Romeo Giulia 5300 manufactured in 1965. He measured himself in the field of Trofeo Nastro Rosso in front of 15.000 spectators. When we mentioned the Hungaroring Classic event to him being held between 27 September and 1 October he became really excited and started to list all his memories about the Hungarian Formula-1 race course.
“I really like the Hungaroring, though I haven’t been there for years, I always watch the Hungarian Formula-1 broadcasts. The Hungarian race course is full of challenges and it will be very exciting with my car for sure. The Alfa Romeo is great in turning, it can break late at the entrance of the turns and reacceleration can be started soon. I love to race with it, so I am really excited about the Hungaroring Classic, I hope that the spectators will also be excited about the event. It feels great to race in front of lots of fans.”
